Ethical manufacturing is something we feel very strongly about at Plant Faced Clothing. When we say that our pieces are made with love, for you to love, we really mean it.
We only work with partners that respect the people they employee and the environment we all enjoy. Nearly 100% all our clothing is manufactured in Fair Wear or WRAP certified facilities.
Fair Wear Foundation and WRAP (Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production) are both globally recognised independent non-profit organisations dedicated to promoting safe, lawful, humane and ethical manufacturing through certification and education. Companies accepted into these organisations go through an extensive application process that ensures that sewn products are being produced under lawful, humane and ethical conditions.
It is ensured that any Plant Faced employee or employee of our chosen manufacturing partners are paid a fair wage, able to work acceptable hours in a safe working environment and are of a minimum age requirement to be working, among many other criterion.
We are aware that this should be a given in any sort of fashion company or brand but unfortunately, that is still not the case for many. We are an independent brand who prioritise human rights, animal rights (all fabrics and products are 100% cruelty-free & vegan) and safe working conditions more than obtaining the lowest price in any situation.

Please note we do our best to provide you with a quick and efficient service but sometimes delays can occur.
If you are still to receive an item after the estimated delivery date please be patient, give it a few days longer and your order will be there before you know it.
You've given it a few days and the situation remains so just follow these steps:
STEP 1: Check the delivery address of the order.
STEP 2: Check that you have not been left a card from mail through your letter box stating that they tried to deliver and are holding your package at the post office. It's also a good idea to check with neighbours and places around your property for left parcels and contact your local post office.
STEP 3: Send us an email and we will do our best to solve the situation.
International buyers please be aware that we have no control over local delivery services. Delays may be due to customs checks, slow local delivery services or busy periods of the year i.e. Christmas, holiday etc.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES
We believe in doing right by our customers and want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you need to exchange your item for a different size, simply return your unused items to us in unused condition, with the original hang tags still attached to the garments within 30 days of receiving the order, and we will issue you a site credit if you are outside UK or EU. You will be responsible for the costs of returning the items to our warehouse.
UK - You can return items for a refund or exchange within 30 days of receipt. You will be responsible for the costs of returning the items to our warehouse, however, if you would like to exchange the item/s there will be no further shipping charges to pay. So if you're unsure on sizing, you can order 2 sizes and return 1 to us!*
EU - You can return items for a refund or exchange within 30 days of receipt. You will be responsible for the costs of returning the items to our warehouse, however, if you would like to exchange the item/s we simply charge a reduced flat rate for shipping of £5. So if you're unsure on sizing, you can order 2 sizes and return 1 to us!*
Before you return your item please make sure they are unused and in a saleable condition, with any labels and tags still attached. To get started with your return, email firstname.lastname@example.org. We're here to help!
*The original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the goods are damaged or incorrect. If the value of your order minus the returned item puts it below the free shipping threshold, please note we will deduct what the original shipping costs would have been from your refund. This is simply because we price our shipping fairly and will end up out of pocket otherwise. :)
The same applies for any free gifts which you would like to hang onto; if the return sends it below the free gift threshold we will deduct the cost of this from the refund.
TAXES AND DUTIES
Please be aware that orders made outside the UK, EU, Australia, or the USA may be subject to additional import tax and duty once the order reaches its designated country. This is usually concerning orders to Switzerland and Canada. As PLANT FACED has no control over these charges, you must bear the cost of any additional import taxes and duty fees.
CANADA - COD is not included in your shipping cost and will be additional.
SWITZERLAND - Duties & taxes on arrival may be due.
Payment of these charges and taxes is the responsibility of the recipient and will not be covered by Plant Faced Clothing. For further details of charges, please contact your local customs office or find their website.
Located in Europe? Don't worry about Brexit — as of 9 July 2021, we now currently cover all duties & taxes to Europe under the new IOSS scheme, hooray! If it hasn't been the case, just send our friendly customer services team an email.

We aim to ensure that all stock levels listed online are accurate; however, there may occasionally be a discrepancy between stock listed online and our physical stock. In the unlikely event that you order an item online which we do not have physical stock of we will refund your money immediately and contact you to let you know when the item will be back in stock.
All Plant Faced orders are packaged in recyclable kraft paper mailer boxes, sealed with vegan-friendly paper tape, wrapped in acid-free tissue paper, with some stickers, and a small paper zine. We're currently moving some of our packaging to some pretty sweet, fun looking eco-friendly 100% compostable and biodegradable paper mailers, printed with soy-based inks. We specifically choose to opt out of the individual poly bags that most clothing brands do to wrap their garments, and worked hard to find suppliers willing to work with these requirements.
All of our clothing is sustainably made in small batches to ensure no excess stock ever goes to landfill. We endeavour to create high quality, beautifully made garments designed to last the test of time. We do ask our customers to take care of their Plant Faced pieces to help us with this.
By caring for garments the right way and looking after your pieces, you can double the life of a garment and reduce the climate impact in half. There is always room for improvement and we are constantly working to explore further ways into which we can make our brand more sustainable while continuing to provide garments at a price that our customers can continue to support and enjoy.
You'll also notice that about 90% of our products are made from more sustainable fabric options like organic or recycled materials. Our garments are additionally GOTS certified. The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibres, including ecological and social criteria, backed up by independent certification of the entire textile supply chain. GOTS certification covers the whole textile process include fair labour practices (no child labour!) and the assurance that there is no known toxic substances used as part of the manufacturing process and therefore safe for humans.
Lastly, we plant trees, lots of them! For every single item we sell, helping to offset our carbon footprint and pay mother nature back for the products she allows us to make.
