DELIVERY DELAYS

Please note we do our best to provide you with a quick and efficient service but sometimes delays can occur.

If you are still to receive an item after the estimated delivery date please be patient, give it a few days longer and your order will be there before you know it.

You've given it a few days and the situation remains so just follow these steps:

STEP 1: Check the delivery address of the order.

STEP 2: Check that you have not been left a card from mail through your letter box stating that they tried to deliver and are holding your package at the post office. It's also a good idea to check with neighbours and places around your property for left parcels and contact your local post office.

STEP 3: Send us an email and we will do our best to solve the situation.

International buyers please be aware that we have no control over local delivery services. Delays may be due to customs checks, slow local delivery services or busy periods of the year i.e. Christmas, holiday etc.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

We believe in doing right by our customers and want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you need to exchange your item for a different size, simply return your unused items to us in unused condition, with the original hang tags still attached to the garments within 30 days of receiving the order, and we will issue you a site credit if you are outside UK or EU. You will be responsible for the costs of returning the items to our warehouse. 

UK - You can return items for a refund or exchange within 30 days of receipt. You will be responsible for the costs of returning the items to our warehouse, however, if you would like to exchange the item/s there will be no further shipping charges to pay. So if you're unsure on sizing, you can order 2 sizes and return 1 to us!* 

EU - You can return items for a refund or exchange within 30 days of receipt. You will be responsible for the costs of returning the items to our warehouse, however, if you would like to exchange the item/s we simply charge a reduced flat rate for shipping of £5. So if you're unsure on sizing, you can order 2 sizes and return 1 to us!* 

Before you return your item please make sure they are unused and in a saleable condition, with any labels and tags still attached. To get started with your return, email info@plantfacedclothing.com. We're here to help!

*The original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the goods are damaged or incorrect. If the value of your order minus the returned item puts it below the free shipping threshold, please note we will deduct what the original shipping costs would have been from your refund. This is simply because we price our shipping fairly and will end up out of pocket otherwise. :)

The same applies for any free gifts which you would like to hang onto; if the return sends it below the free gift threshold we will deduct the cost of this from the refund.

 

TAXES AND DUTIES

Please be aware that orders made outside the UK, EU, Australia, or the USA may be subject to additional import tax and duty once the order reaches its designated country. This is usually concerning orders to Switzerland and Canada. As PLANT FACED has no control over these charges, you must bear the cost of any additional import taxes and duty fees. 

CANADA - COD is not included in your shipping cost and will be additional.
SWITZERLAND - Duties & taxes on arrival may be due.

Payment of these charges and taxes is the responsibility of the recipient and will not be covered by Plant Faced Clothing. For further details of charges, please contact your local customs office or find their website.

Located in Europe? Don't worry about Brexit — as of 9 July 2021, we now currently cover all duties & taxes to Europe under the new IOSS scheme, hooray! If it hasn't been the case, just send our friendly customer services team an email.

Note, in some occasions custom agents may delay delivery of some packages.

AVAILABILITY

We aim to ensure that all stock levels listed online are accurate; however, there may occasionally be a discrepancy between stock listed online and our physical stock. In the unlikely event that you order an item online which we do not have physical stock of we will refund your money immediately and contact you to let you know when the item will be back in stock.

WE'RE NOT PERFECT. WE'RE JUST HONEST ABOUT WHAT WE DO.

We started Plant Faced because we wanted clothes that looked good without animals paying the price.

Over the years, we've made a lot of choices with that in mind - from the materials we use to the inks we print with and the packaging your order arrives in.

We're not going to tell you that buying a T-shirt saves the planet. It doesn't.

Instead, here's exactly what we can tell you about how Plant Faced products are made.

ORGANIC & RECYCLED MATERIALS

A number of our garments are made using certified organic cotton or recycled fibres.

For example, our Plant Based Kanji hoodies are made from 100% organic cotton, while some of our other hoodies, sweatshirts and joggers use a blend of organic cotton and recycled polyester.

Our organic cotton garments are made with certified organic cotton, with certification depending on the specific garment and product.

We don't claim that every Plant Faced product is made from organic or recycled materials - because they aren't.

You'll find the exact fibre composition and relevant certification information on individual product pages wherever we have it.

WATER-BASED INKS

Every printed Plant Faced garment is printed using water-based inks.

That's a simple one.

No vague "eco ink" claims. No complicated footnotes. Just water-based inks.

COMPOSTABLE MAILERS

Your order needs to get to you before you can wear it.

Our current clothing orders are shipped in compostable mailers made from approximately 70% PBAT, 25% corn starch and 5% PLA.

Our mailers are certified to DIN CERTCO 7P1050 and TÜV OK compost HOME / INDUSTRIAL standards.

Larger orders that don't fit in a mailer are packed in cardboard boxes.

We also don't individually wrap our garments in plastic poly bags.

MADE TO BE WORN

We care a lot about what happens before a garment reaches you - but what happens afterwards matters too.

The simplest way to extend the useful life of a piece of clothing is to look after it properly.

Follow the care instructions, wash when it actually needs washing, and keep wearing the thing for as long as you can.

Because a favourite T-shirt that's worn for years is doing a lot more than one that's forgotten at the back of a wardrobe.

VEGAN BY PRINCIPLE

Plant Faced exists because we believe clothing shouldn't require animals to be harmed.

That's why veganism has always been at the heart of the brand.

We're interested in making clothes that let you wear your values without having to dress like a walking billboard for them.

Sometimes the message is loud.

Sometimes it's hidden in plain sight.

Either way, no animal leather, fur or wool is part of what we're trying to do.

AND A NOTE ON CLAIMS...

You'll notice this page is a little different from the one that used to live here.

We've retired some of our older sustainability claims rather than continuing to repeat things that don't accurately describe what we're doing today.

We'd rather tell you exactly what a garment is made from than call it "eco-friendly".

We'd rather say our inks are water-based than tell you they're "planet-friendly".

And we'd rather show you the certifications behind a specific material than put a big green tick over the entire collection.

Because doing better also means being honest about what we know - and what we don't.

THE PLANT FACED WAY

Plant Faced was built around a pretty simple idea:

No beings exploited.
Animals, humans, or plants.

We haven't always got everything perfect. No clothing brand does.

But for the last 10 years, we've tried to make clothes that say something, give people something to smile about, and give animals a break.

And now, as Plant Faced heads towards its final chapter, we're proud of the choices we've made along the way.
